Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Greets guests arriving at and departing from the resort, providing prompt and friendly service with luggage from car to hotel check-in. shall escort guests to room, providing information that will make their stay comfortable, safe and enjoyable.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Provides prompt, friendly service to ensure guest satisfaction and return visits.

Promptly greets customers entering the resort, opening exterior resort doors and/or assisting with luggage removal from car and carrying to the front desk for check-in.

Escorts guests to accommodations, visually inspects room and points out room features.

Responds to guest inquiries, providing directions, information and assistance as appropriate.

Deliver mail, packages and other items to guest room.

Responds to guests’ request for assistance with luggage upon departure, moving luggage from room to vehicle or storage area. Handles delivery of group luggage upon request.

Maintain luggage carts, ensuring carts are clean, in good working condition and easy access.

Maintain luggage storage area is an organized manner, ensuring ease with storage and retrieval.

Cleans and maintains lobby area from debris, fingerprints, clutter on tables, etc.

Dependent on staffing needs, may assist with utility, housekeeping or valet staff duties as needed.

Comply with company regulations, codes, laws, policies and procedures.

Promote a safe workplace, appropriately using equipment and materials. If encountering a safety hazard, promptly mark-off area to prevent injury and notify supervisor of concern.

Report any unusual situations or circumstances to supervisor.

Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Six months guest service experience.
High School Diploma or GED.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and manner.
Physically able to quickly respond to physical tasks; bend, lift and maneuver bulky items up to 50 lbs., push a cart containing up to 200 lbs., good auditory acuity to respond to verbal dialogue.
Requires a criminal history background check.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred driver’s license must be insurable with WRC policy.
