Invites applications for the position of:
Bookstore Associate
Hours: Monday Friday, 7:45 AM to 12:45 PM
Location: 693 W. 1210 S. Spanish Fork, UT 84660
Status: Part Time / non-exempt
Wage: $11.22 / hour
Summary of Duties
Track all shipments received and prepare interoffice mail to be delivered to MTECH campuses
Receives orders from instructors on materials needed for instruction in classes to place in the store. Must be able to multi task and fill orders in a timely manner with accuracy
Makes change, cashes checks, and issues receipts for customers
Must be willing to cover other shifts and/or other Bookstore locations as needed
Tracks inventory and places necessary orders as needed
Attend all required meetings and trainings
Qualifications
1 year experience with cashiering and/or retail sales
High School or College Graduate- Must be 18 yrs. or older
Required skills:
Strong customer service skills
Computer literate
Proficient with ten key
Data base/data entry, record, store, or maintain information in either written or electronic form
Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly and fluently in English
Can follow written and/or oral instructions, applicable laws, regulations and other policies and procedures
Detail oriented, good organization skills
MTEC requires all final candidates to complete a background check. Employment is contingent upon background check results.
