Job Description:

To produce and oversee print and digital creative solutions that address the needs of the Office of University Events.

Job Details:

Responsibilities

Create and execute concepts for print and digital collateral including but not limited to invitations and envelopes, event collateral, programs, graphic wraps and signage, infographics, web pages, maps, social media assets, animations, emails and promotional items.
Consult with event colleagues, internal clients and external vendors on creative solutions for all event related print and digital communications.
Provide print-ready files and coordinate production with printers/vendors including press checks and print delivery.
Maintain UT brand continuity and visual appearance in print, digital and multimedia environments.
Develop and manage inventory of relevant materials, supplies, equipment, photos, graphics, and design assets.
Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree. Five years of experience in graphics design and production. Ability to work quickly to design and produce high-quality print and digital communications as demonstrated through portfolio. Disciplined self-starter with the ability to thrive as part of a multidisciplinary team and the stamina to produce high-quality graphics in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment with minimal supervision. Must possess a strong sense of concept development, superior design, technical and editing skills, proofing, and up-to-date knowledge of industry software (Illustrator, Photoshop, lnDesign), web design and multimedia presentation. Experience with the printing process including print specifications, cost estimates, final files and press checks. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate with a team. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

More than five years experience in graphic design and production. Experience with web design and graphic elements for video.

Salary Range

$62,000

Retirement Plan Eligibility:
